Accessibility statement

This statement applies to the Beverley and Holderness Council website. We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website, and we are committed to making it accessible in accordance with the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) Accessibility Regulations 2018.

How accessible this website is

This website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 AA standard, due to the non-compliances listed below.

Non-accessible content

  • Some documents are published only in PDF and are not tagged for screen readers.
  • Some forms do not retain user input when a session expires.
  • Some service pages describe services that are not currently available.

What we are doing to improve accessibility

We remain committed to the principle of full accessibility. We are unable to remedy the issues listed above within current resources, as the necessary work would constitute expenditure of a kind currently restricted. We will revisit this position when circumstances allow.
