Ways to pay your Council Tax

You can pay your Council Tax by Direct Debit, online or by telephone.

Direct Debit

Direct Debit is the Council's preferred payment method. You can choose to pay on the 1st, 8th, 15th or 28th of the month, over 10 or 12 instalments. Set up or amend a Direct Debit through My Account.

Pay online

You can pay online using a debit or credit card. Online payment is available 24 hours a day, including weekends and bank holidays, and payments are applied to your account instantly.

Pay by telephone

An automated telephone payment line is available 24 hours a day on 01632 960020. You will need your Council Tax account number and a debit or credit card.

Pay at a bank or PayPoint

You can pay at any bank using your bill, or at a PayPoint outlet using the barcode on your bill. Please allow 3 working days for the payment to reach your account.

By post

Cheques should be made payable to Beverley and Holderness Council and sent with your Council Tax account number to the address on your bill. Please allow 5 working days for postal payments to be processed.
